Day 236
Todays word from Susie RESPAIR a 16th century word meaning a fresh hope and recovery from despair!
I’m 5th on the list to get the vaccine. I knew being older would come in handy!
House hunting is exhausting. We have made a decision and now we are having to do the work. Okay it’s not as hard as what many people have to do every day but we are not used to travelling. It’s a silly moan really and what the hell did we expect? Driving on UK roads is not a pleasant experience. Truck after truck after truck! I don’t envy anyone who lives near a port, it must be a nightmare?
As for Hancock’s assertion that Brexit enabled us to get the vaccine quicker, what a load of bollocks and a desperate try to justify the exit from the EU! By the way you are aware that we are heading towards a no deal?
We crossed Tiers yesterday! We went from tier 2 to tier 3 and then back again. Oh the thrill of excitement as we headed into dangerous waters and the heady relief we when we safely returned to our less dangerous area. I can tell you that in Tier 3 the people look just like us! No one had two heads or openly flaunted their higher exposure to Covid! The roads were the same and well you just could not see the difference. Of course we never left the car and had we had full hazmat suits on the whole time but then you can’t be too careful can you!
Stay well
