It’s looking unlikely restrictions will be lifted on the 21st. Did anyone expect any lifting of restrictions not to have a effect in the spike in cases? If restrictions are lifted then it is inevitable there will be an increase, it is simple logic but you have to make a decision at some point!
I do not necessarily understand the technicalities of the Irish border problem other than to say it is a nonsense and it is obvious that Boris’s promises about no restrictions were completely false, what a surprise! This is a man who could start a sentence promising one thing and finish it contradicting it!
So is there any doubt that the stupidity of Brexit has not had a massive detrimental effect on our country? Surely anyone who has been following at least some of the problems it has caused cannot argue with that? And before those who say it’s done get over it, no I won’t, I refuse to give up my democratic right to keep saying it was a huge mistake and one we are going to regret for many years to come.
The hole it has left in the job market alone is enormous and because we Brits became used to those tasks we no longer wanted to do being done by other nationalities we are screwed! Never has the saying “Be careful what you wish for” been more apt!
