Now I understand that we are living longer and therefore the social services are stretched to a level that they were not designed to cope with but the wheels do turn slowly. It is only and some might say ironically, by calling in the medical profession that he has managed to get any attention at all.
Nursing homes, as I have discovered, are not inexpensive. So we have an ongoing dilemma as to how best to provide his future well being.
So with fully charged phone I labour on in my quest to get him the help he needs!
