Day 188
I have just trawled through the news and Twitter. There seems to be little written that is not either misinformation or politicians be outed for lying. Everyone has an agenda and can use the plethora of video clips to back up their claim. Yes we know that many of these posts are true and just endorse on an individual feed what we want to hear. Politicians lie, it is nothing new they have been doing it forever. Now we have the means to scrutinise every word and action and highlights much of their stupidity. They have not learned the lessons of our social feeds and still bumble on making gaffs and appearing to be unable to act with any dignity. I suspect they were always like this but the scrutiny was not as intense or non stop? None of it is an excuse for the image that politicians like Johnson, Trump and so many others display. They use it to their advantage and no matter how many times they appear to look stupid or lie their supporters either don’t care, believe them or simply love them all the more! It is baffling. The truth is now whatever they want it to be and no amount of factual reporting or proof makes any difference! Fake news is normal. It’s fake if they don’t like criticism but they are happy to endorse if it fits their agenda. We the public have no chance! Their supporters care little for the truth and just continue to believe they are great?
Hancocks latest response to a perfectly reasonable question in Parliament is a perfect example of a minister no longer caring whether they actually answer. He reacts as though it was a personal insult and sits down! Unbelievable!
It was always a mad mad mad world but it is getting madder by the second!
Still there is hope that Trump might shuffle off?
