 Day 196

Well I start today with the sad news that I am temporarily on one leg since the Open Reach van decided to run over me and crush my foot. The bike is a write off but unlike me it can be replaced. Not much more to say accidents happen but I never saw this one coming. A big shout out to the paramedic who was kind and checked me out throughly. I don’t know how long it will take to recover but I hope not too long.

The amount of daily criticism that is aimed at the government is increasing as their pronouncements get more and more bizarre. I am no supporter of this lot so I suspect my feeds algorithms only show me the critics. I wonder if supporters (surely there can’t be any, can there?) of Boris get a feed that only display how wonderful they are? They seem to take little notice of what appears to be overwhelming criticism of their performance, so I wonder what they get on their feeds?

If you are not looking forward to the winter you are not alone. I don’t like winter at the best of times but this one is looking to be a real bastard! It is not the isolation or the staying safe or mixing with others that is so depressing it is the uncertainty of how long it will last? Should this fade I suspect nothing will change as people simply want to go back to lives that they had?

I am a humbug when it comes to Xmas and this one is going to be challenging to say the least! There will be four round our table.

Medium, High or very High, you might as well say we have know idea what we are doing so we will give it three ranges and hope it fools everyone into thinking we are doing something!

Stay well
