Day 25
As I write I have the great pleasure of listening to Paul Simon’s Graceland album, a masterpiece!

Everyday seems to bring more evidence of the stupidity of people from around the world as they cannot grasp the seriousness of the current pandemic. Even in Greece which has been so well behaved thus far, has over their Easter weekend flouted the isolation they have been so strong with. Just go to show how religion far from keeping people safe makes them do things they know they should not. It is a harsh thing to say but those who seem to have no thought for themselves and for others deserve, everything they get. Trouble is, it is others who will have to deal with the consequences of their thoughtlessness! No amount of warnings, advice , instructions or any form of communication seems to have any effect on some people. Their selfish behaviour is a disgrace and that are being rightly condemned and pilloried on every platform daily. Unfortunately no matter how many warnings and how ever much they are shamed there are always those who continue to behave irresponsibly.

So today Saturday it is raining. We’ve been lucky thus far in the UK, so don’t let this turn in the weather dampen your resolve or spirit. There are plenty of jobs left to do....aren’t there?
I am writing a series of Detective stories in the mode of a collection like Conan-Doyle did with Sherlock Holmes. Let me make it very clear I am not in anyway comparing myself to his genius.
Of course if you read them and you want to well............
My “hero” is Inspector Kirkbride. One story in the bag and the second will be continued once I have finished this.
