So Trump now says he has no objection to masks. He’s been wearing one of various types for almost 4 years and changes them in mid-sentence . He thinks it will make him look like the Lone Ranger completely failing to understand that he wore a mask across his eyes not mouth. There is not a word that comes out of this mans mouth that is not complete bollocks. He should be muzzled not masked!
The situation in Hong Kong is a blatant disregard for human rights. My son Adam has been to China a number of times on business. He tells me that are very polite and appear on the surface to have “freedom” but they are under strict laws not to say a word against their rulers. They cannot enter into any comment on their government if they are overheard or reported they will be arrested and unlikely to get a trial just go straight to jail.. So the next time you may think that nobody listens to us remember at least you have the freedom to speak! Freedom is precious and we must do all we can to protect it wherever it is threatened.
Boris is getting rightly criticised from a number of sides for all the figures he keeps producing which get disproved or are ones he has announced before but just re-packaged! The man is untrustworthy and will say what ever he thinks he has to in order to gain favour. I watched him briefly on PM questions yesterday and when he is attacked calmly by the opposition, he starts waving his hands, raising his voice, stuttering, humping and harrumphing and stumbling over his words. He inspire little confidence and has all the gravitas of a wet blanket!
I made a error of judgement yesterday. Yes me! I went out on the bike and although I dressed for damp weather I got too warm and had to take my jacket off and roll up my leggings. Berating myself for not putting on shorts suddenly the rain came down in torrents and even the jacket and leggings were not going to keep me dry! I was half way round my ride and by the time I arrived home to say I was wet would be an understatement. On top of that the front wheel got away from me and I came down on my left shoulder and bruised my elbow. Not my finest moment!!!
