To mask or not to mask that is the question, whether it is nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous Covid and by doing so overcome it! I para phrase but the current rules on where you where a mask or don’t are an absolute load of bollocks. In a shop yes, in the pub no, in a school no, public transport yes, etc Would somebody please explain to me what the difference is. Surely wherever there is a risk of airborne infection a mask should be worn if that is the current advice.
Not only are this government unable or incapable of offering consistent advice they are slowly undoing all sorts of laws and protections behind the scene, that we know nothing about and aren’t being reported while we are distracted by Covid-19.
Beware of what you vote for Britain, you wanted Johnson and now watch as he dismantles protections that will always affect those who have the least or are the least able to fight it.
We stumble towards Brexit and the delusion that Boris is going to invest and provide al sorts of projects to get us moving. Mark my words when things do eventually calm down less than half of what he promised now will ever be talked of again. I hope there is a record of all these false promises so as when the dust settles (if it ever does) we will know how he and his cohorts conned us!
Do not be fooled by the huge sums of money his Chancellor is proposing like smoke it will disappear and all we will be left with is the faint memory of some project or investment the government once proposed. You can absolutely guarantee they won’t look after all of those health workers the damned with faint praise and clapped for. They will squirm and backtrack as they always do and find some seemingly plausible excuse for not spending!
That’s it for today rant over. I hope I never have to write the words “I told you so!”
