Day 111
So Trump wears a mask? He has been wearing the mask of the President for nearly four years! He has to go.
Sad to hear that Jackie Charlton has died. Only three left of the ‘66 winning team left I believe Sir Geoff Hurst, Sir Bobby Charlton and Roger Hunt. Inevitably they would age and die, it was 54 years ago. I remember it well.
Do you trust any politician? Can you believe any word they spout? The credibility, about turns, twisting of facts and statistics has become a habit they cannot break. Perhaps they are a product of the insatiable need for the media to interview and scrutinise every move, every utterance. I suspect they are mutually inclusive. One cannot thrive without the other! We have poor representatives and the reporting is a reflection of them!
If you have Netflix may I humbly recommend two films we have watched
Ali’s Wedding an Australian production about immigrant and native born Muslims. Funny, poignant, heartwarming and a true story!
Badla a Indian production, subtitled. A twisting convoluted, murder tale, with a final twist at the end. Gripping and intriguing!
Today’s word from Susie Dent. Flarnecking the vulgar flaunting of success
Stay well
