Day 104
The logic of this government is beyond belief. From 6am you can go to the pub but you cannot play Cricket. I am a Cricket fan but even if I wasn’t the inconsistency of decisions coming out of No 10 is baffling to say the least. Let these things begin and if they are impractical or we can’t behave ourselves then bring the hammer down! After all it isn’t as though anyone has broken the rules or misbehaved up till now is it! Football a contact sport has been on for three weeks already. Just shows which money talks the loudest!
Wendy’s mum had to be taken to Kettering hospital because she fell over in the care home she resides and possibly broke her nose. It is not the first time she has done this. When Wendy eventually spoke with them they said she was having tests and would remain in until today. When she asked about the reason she had been brought in they said there was nothing on her chart about it? The care home naturally wanted her tested before being returned. Last night they returned her unannounced. We don’t know if she has been tested and now has to be isolated. The care home is fantastic and we are very lucky she is there. Mum is a remarkable survivor. She has survive breast cancer and has a benign tumour on her brain. Unfortunately at nearly 90 she has developed a form of dementia. When Wendy picketed her up last Saturday, for emergency dental work, she refused at first to go because she did not think Wendy was her daughter and was going to kidnap her and not bring her back.
Susie Dent’s words of today, I’m sure you’ve meet both!
Monologist: Someone who goes on and on and monopolises the conversation
Nod-Crafty: Prone to nodding vigorously when you tuned out hours ago
Stay well
