I have just read an article on Fake News. It’s not difficult to understand how fake news spreads and gets disseminated across social media and other outlets. Much is deliberately spread in order to fulfil an agenda or to make people frightened, perhaps for a joke? If I were to spread the fake information that Crunchy Nut cornflakes have a virus resistant ingredient and it went viral, would there be a sudden shortage of this cereal as gullible idiots rushed to the supermarkets and cleared the shelves. (Just so as you know it doesn’t)
Trump (yes him) has constantly berated the media for broadcasting or printing fake news because he does not like it or it undermines his regime. His administration are desperately blaming everyone and anyone at present in a flurry of criticism designed to deflect away from the troubled and appalling performance of particularly himself and his team. He knows he is not doing well to get re-elected, the whole world needs to make sure he does not!
I have said it many many times before fake crap published on every platform, far outweighs the truth. My advice do not pass on the messages unless you can prove it’s voracity. Do not blindly share that which may appeal to you or have a ring of truth without checking the facts. Best of all simply do not pass it on, with one exception if it’s obviously humorous and not offensive!
Monday morning and yes folks it’s ironing and Sound of the Seventies morning.......whoopee! I live on the wild side of life!!!
I have mentioned before that we have dusted down the DVD player and brought out the DVD library.
We watch the first forty odd minutes with our afternoon tea and scones or cake or recently bread pudding, yum. then we complete the film later in the evening. So far we have seen:
