Day 51

Should I still be counting the days as we are only in partial lockdown?
I played golf yesterday and I have to say the place was well organised. Much thought had gone into the game could be played without endangering anyone.

A word about the most hated man on my agenda (you must know who by now?) He looks more dishevelled and ragged by the day and there is no doubt he is acting weirder by the hour. He hates anyone having a platform to talk to the nation and give advice, even if they were appointed by him. He has to have the last word. He wants to make sure they know he is supposedly in charge? Ask something he does not like or more likely does not know the answer and he deflects, is openly rude and hostile or simply walks away. The man will have a complete melt down, of that I am sure, it’s not far off, he cannot handle the pressure.

So how are you doing? Fearful of the future, nothing but bad vibes? Much as I hate to remind you of the problems this epidemic has caused and will continue to cause, all the things that were going on prior to this lockdown have not gone away! Just when we though the last three years of wrangling, discord, argument and vitriol had maybe settled down along comes Mr Virus to remind us once more that in truth we have little or no control. I don’t wish to depress you or sound negative but the future is not looking rosy! The rest of the worlds problems have not disappeared, indeed they will become more pressing than ever and now with a severely hampered ability to deal with them!

Well that was a real downer of a paragraph! Don’t worry in my experience, everything comes right eventually, it make take time it may not last for long but for every con there IS a pro!
I know your frustrated, I know your at a loss, I know you have doubts, I know it all seems to hard but remember we are resilient, tough, resourceful, brave, supportive, kind, loving, joyful, adaptable, clever, happy, and whilst you read this obviously alive and believe me that is better than the alternative!

Keep smiling, for instance while I write this Wendy is placing a meat order (we are not vegetarians) and I can hear her listing Bacon, meat pie , mince, sausages, chicken fillets etc! Not everyone’s cup of tea but it makes me smile!

Stay well
